Wow, another school year is nearly over! The last few weeks are packed with activities including:
Arista- May 20 (6th 5:00pm, 8th 6:30pm and 7th 7:45pm)\
Art Show- June 2 (5:30-7:00pm) at IS 24 Gymnasium
Spring Concerts- June 8 (8th grade) and June 9 (6th and 7th grade)
Grade Trips and Assemblies
Congratulations to our eighth grade class, they have done outstanding job! We know they are well prepared for September and the next challenge in their academic life.
As we say goodbye to our eighth graders, we will continue the cycle of change by welcoming our sixth grade class in September. It is my hope that I can make this transition for our sixth graders to the intermediate school environment as smooth as possible. This will only be done with the continued involvement of all of our parents and PTA leadership. With your support, all things are possible and no goals are unreachable.
I would like to thank the PTA officers, executive board and parents for your support and dedication. We would not be successful without your involvement. Together with teachers, administration and staff, the Barnes family bond is stronger than ever.
